Dr Muhammad Syafiq is a vascular and endovascular surgeon in Universiti Malaya Medical Centre (UMMC). Having obtained his undergraduate degree from Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland/Penang Medical College, he subsequently joined UMMC as a service medical officer in surgical department in 2011. He passed his Membership of Royal College Surgeons (MRCS) examination in 2015, awarded by Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. Upon completing Master of Surgery from University of Malaya in 2018. Dr. Muhammad Syafiq went on to complete vascular fellowship from 2020 to 2023 in Ministry of Health Malaysia and Tan Tock Seng Hospital, Singapore.
